DESCRIPTION
The project regards the realization of the new primary school formed by four divisions. The school complex consists of one structure with planimetric L-shape configuration. The two sides have 50,30 m and 38,80 m length and variable width included between 18,50 m and 24,00 m. In order to safeguard the building from the seismic actions, the building is equipped with a base isolation system formed by “friction pendulum” seismic isolators with double curved surfaces.
