DESCRIPTION
The project regards the seismic vulnerability’s assessment of the air traffic control tower and the surveillance radar tower. The first is formed of six elevations for a total height of 21.30 m, essentially organized by a central hollow core shape with cantilever blocks, at the higher levels and in a staggered way, hosting the control room. The radar tower, with is perfect square plane and trunk-pyramidal shape development, has a total height of 25 m and the structure in totally formed of metal profiles. Particular interest is in the evaluation of the dynamic interaction of the ALE3X5 antenna in rotation with the substructure pylon.
