DESCRIPTION
The “A. Gentili” high school is composed of two structural bodies (body A1 and body A2) and has a gross area of 4140 m2 and total volume of 13200 m3. The seismic adequacy interventions are consisted in the insertion of steel braced frames with dissipative device, insertion of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer in order to increase the strength of some structural elements (beams, columns and joints), realization of seismic joints on the flight stairs at the floor levels, adaptation of the existing structural joints between each structural body.
